Mill a cube as precise as you like. Then place the cube in a 4-jaw chuck and mill out face 1. Remove and reverse (face 1 now faces the chuck), and mill out the opposing face. Then measure out the voids and make three or four cylindrical blanks to fill it (thick washers). Use the blanks to hold the inner piece in place during additional operations.
