Location: Davis Creek is a north-flowing tributary to the South Fork, Koyukuk River. The mouth of Davis Creek is about 4.5 miles east-northeast of Gold Bench and 3.5 miles northwest of Grayling Lake. Placer mining has occurred along the lower 0.8 mile of the creek; most of the mining was within a few hundred feet of its mouth.
