The buildcraft pump is easiest to set up, especially as it uses the same type of power as the quarry. Either build lots of tanks or look up water strainers as a way to dispose of the unwanted water. The redpower pump will probably be fastest by far but it is much more work to craft and set up

Not sure if it is still like that now. Try moving your engine closer to the quarry and use less cobble conductive pipes. In the end, it's probably best to go with redstone energy conduit rather than buildcraft pipes. But those are a little harder to get than conductive pipes. I added two more engines running on lava, and that made it work
