A drywasher recovers gold because of the following characteristics. (1) The recovery box is shaking, allowing more dense material to sink. (2) The material in the recovery box is being fluidized by a constant cushion of air, which also allows the more dense material to sink quicker. When the gold reaches the cloth it is trapped under the riffles.

Feb 15, 2017· It got gold and garnets, but I don't recommend it. I do know someone who purchased a used drywasher and replaced the black Keene 151 fabric with black "not to be named" fabric. Oct 12, 2016· Assuming the material is dry, the Keene DW212V (or most any bellows/puffer drywasher) will be much more efficient at fine gold recovery than the 151, 140s or any forced air drywasher system. Running slightly damp material; then the recovery edge goes to the forced air-vibrastatic machine especially w/hot air induction.
